Mould Remediation
Mold or mould is found everywhere inside and outside, and can grow on almost any substance when moisture is present. Moulds reproduce by spores, which can be carried by air currents or people.
When these mould spores land on a moist organic surface, that is suitable for life, they begin to grow. For significant mold growth to occur, there must be a source of moisture (which could be high humidity), a source of food, and a surface capable of sustaining growth.

When mould spores are present in large quantities, they are a health hazard to humans, potentially causing allergic reactions and respiratory problems. These adverse respiratory health effects are associated with occupancy in buildings with moisture and mold damage.

Mold Testing

– A sterile swab is rolled back and forth to the mold area, then the swab is sealed and submitted to the laboratory where the sample will be cultured and the type of mold will be identified.
Tape Slide Testing
– A piece of tape is placed on the mold are to be tested is then lifted on to a glass slide. same as swab testing, it is then sealed and sent to laboratory for analysis.
